WHAT?

TONES OF BERLIN is not a concert but a live music session experience where the audience witnesses the process of creation in real time. Each session starts with InTone, a genre-blending jam to connect the artists, followed by ReTone, where selected songs are collaboratively transformed across two-three takes.

Agenda

  1. InTone
    Jam

  1. InTone Jam

We start with a curated jam session (InTone) involving the Tones Collective. It’s a warm-up and a space to connect. The genre mix is chosen by the collective.

  1. ReTone
    Collabs

  1. ReTone Collabs

Then comes ReTone: 4–5 Featured Artists each bring two different songs

SONG 1: SIGNATURE TRACK (no collab)
The first song is performed as originally released, allowing the audience to experience the artist's authentic sound and identity while giving the artist a fair opportunity to showcase their true sound.

SONG 2: COLLAB TRACK
The second song features a simpler, song designed for collaboration. The Tones Collective and the Featured Artist collab on it together, creating a new version through two live takes.

The collab songs are selected in advance and shared in a session alignment group for individual preparation — but the real rehearsal and alignment happen on stage. The creative alignment process itself is part of the session.

Afterwards, selected jam highlights and full songs — or standout moments — are produced and collectively shared online, supporting mutual growth.
